The legal cargo weight limit for a 20ft container in Japan is of 21,500 kg. We may load engines, suspensions, body parts, half cuts and also used cars. For configuring properly the container load, we divide into 9 blocks the container. The characteristics of this container size are as follow.

It is the ideal size of container to load engines, being able to load from 70 to 80 engines depending the size of those. If there are many engines with long transmission (FR), the total amount of engines will decrease.
In a 20ft container, we may load from 1 to 4 half cuts and the rest of parts corresponding to the vehicles. Of course, we may fulfill the left space with other parts.We may load also complete cars knocked down, being able to load till 8-10 vehicles in a 20ft container.
For a good loading, we fulfil first floor with engines and heavy parts such as suspensions (30 engines max). On the next floors we may load parts, nose cuts or also half cuts.
Depending on the sizes we may load from 450 to 550 tires from sizes 12R, 13R, 14R, 15R and 16R. Our balance is 80% winter and 20% summer tires and 40% tires with wheel. We may also load tires with alloy wheel sets.

We are able to load from 100 to 110 engines. There will be many empty space, but unfortunately we may not load more engine because the weight limit. We strongly recommend fulfilling the empty space with light parts such doors, bumpers or nose cuts.
It is the ideal size for loading half cut because in a 40ft HC we have height to load 3 half cuts one under the other. We may load till 12 half cuts and the rest of parts corresponding to the vehicles. We may load also complete cars knocked down, being able to load till 18-20 vehicles in a 40ft container.

KAIHO developed its own standard named "JRS (Japan Reuse Standard)" to
evaluate the quality of used engines.
The test uses a five-level assessment for six items including compression,
overheating and mileage etc.
Since the quality of used engines evaluated by this standard is clear, CLIENTS around
the WORLD can purchase without worrying.
We dismantle more than 12,000 cars annualy and keep more than 2,500 engines in our stock. Japanese staff carefully dismantle your cars following your order and export about 600 containers in a year. We have exported to 90 countries in the world over 54 years of our experiences.

Once the KAIHO staff will receive your request, the Container order procedure will be
launched.
The general procedure scheme is detailed bellow and described step by step on the subsection.

Once you will contact with the corresponding Sales Agent, you will be asked
information about the container order: what kind of used engines and auto
parts, which is the container size you are thinking in (20ft or 40ft) and if
you want to be in charge of the container collect or you prefer that KAIHO
INDUSTRY will provide you a quotation.
With this information the Sales Agent will be able to plan a tentative
schedule for the negotiation period and the loading of the container. All
this information will be collected in a “Plan form” and you will receive a
copy.
If you are agree we will pass to the following step (point 2).

During the “negotiation period” arranged in the “Plan form”, our Sales Agent
will analyze the list of engines, parts and cars that you provided to us and
will provide you a “Pro forma invoice” detailing the products details and
prices.
You will be free to add (if available in our stock) or discard any product,
and also to ask for reviewing any price at any moment during the negotiation
period.
During the negotiation, due to proceed to reserve the desired engines and
parts, you will be kindly asked to send us a deposit corresponding to
approximately 50% of the total amount of the container order.
Once you have agreed with the pro forma invoice, we will ask you to send it.
At this point, no cancels will be accepted.

Our personnel will work on your container order, gathering all the products
you listed on the pro forma invoice. The internal logistics for the loading
of your container will be planned, choosing the corresponding responsible
and loaders and informing them about any special request from you.
The corresponding Sales Agent also will contact with the Freight Agency due
to book the vessel and, after the agency confirmation, we will deliver the
Shipping instruction and we will able to inform you about the container
loading date and estimation of the arrival day.

Our personnel will arrange the inland transportation of the container and
also will proceed to the container loading.
The day after the container loading, the corresponding Sales Agent will send
you the corresponding final invoice, including pictures of the loading for
your information and a report of your current statement with KAIHO
INDUSTRY.
Our personnel also will prepare the required documents for the customs
office due to accept this container.
We will kindly ask you to send us the rest of the amount of the container
order before the vessel will depart from Japan.

Approximately 2 weeks before of the arrival of the container to destination, we will able to send you the B/L with the required documents for picking up the container (packing list, invoice, Certificate of Origin, etc…).
What is the Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ is a 20ft container which can contain 70 - 75 engines. If you wish to order a single engine, for instance, unfortunately the cost of sending it would be, sometimes, more expensive than the engine cost.
Kaiho Industry engines have transmissions? May I require take out the transmissions of the engines?
All our engines have the transmission and rest of the parts such as compressor, dynamo, computer etc… We can take out the transmissions without any problem. We are not selling transmissions separately.
How long will it take to prepare my container once we agreed a proforma invoice?
We take between one month to complete your order.
Do we have any kind of guarantee about the products that we buy in Kaiho?
We are testing all our engines, so it is really rare to find a problem in our engines. Despite this, our quality test has some limitations and it is possible that we couldn’t detect a problem. In that case, we accept to negotiate a proper compensation within one month after the container reaches its destination.
Can I get some pictures of that engines to know the model of them?
Of course, we have pictures of all our engines. Easily you will be able to confirm that the engine corresponds to your demand.
What are the payment methods and the currency?
We are only using Japanese yen. For the payment methods, we have Bank transfer, L/C, Credit Card, PayPal, MoneyGram.
